It gives me great pleasure to greet you, as the headteacher of Ysgol Bryn Tabor, Coedpoeth.

Ysgol Bryn Tabor is a Welsh Medium Community Primary School serving the village of Coedpoeth and surrounding areas.

The school was established as a small unit in 1967 and has grown over the years. After sharing a site with Ysgol Penygelli for a number of years, Ysgol Penygelli moved to a new site and in 2007 the new remodelled Ysgol Bryn Tabor was opened.

We are very proud of the happy, caring and welcoming community in the school. Our aim here is to prepare a happy and safe environment where each individual is appreciated. We believe that a child who is happy at school is better equipped for learning. A balance between academic success and development of sound personal skills is strived for. We aim to provide the best possible education, reflecting the needs of each individual pupil enabling each one to reach their full potential.

We are a Welsh medium school and pupils leave here fluent in both Welsh and English. We believe that being able to use two languages gives pupils more choices in life.
